The Unite In Action March on DC hotel discounts were supposed to end on Thursday, August 19, but they have not been pulled from the hotel websites yet. If you have not booked your hotel, do it now!

We have added a second bus! It will originate in Newton (Riverside), stop in Auburn (Mass Pike Exit 10A Rt. 146 Commuter Lot) and will stop again in the Waterbury, CT area. We have very few seats left. If you want a seat, complete the bus form using the link below, then send a check or pay through PayPal.

Join us for the 2010 March on DC

The Worcester Tea Party is going back to Washington, D.C. for the 2010 March on DC! This year's event has a different route, a different agenda, and new organizers. A coalition of national liberty groups and local Tea Parties have been planning this year's event.

We have received many questions about the correct date of the march. There are two marches taking place this year. The Unite in Action March is on Saturday, September 11. This is the march that we are participating in. For information about this march go to www.marchondc.org.

There is a second march taking place on September 12 sponsored by FreedomWorks. We will not be participating in this march.

Buses will depart from Chelmsford, Worcester, Newton, Chicopee, and Waterbury, CT on Friday, September 10. We will return on Sunday, September 12. Departure times are as follows:

7:15 a.m. Chelmsford (Market Basket parking lot,Rt. 110, 288 Chelmsford St., Chelmford)

       8:00 a.m. Worcester (Rt. 146/Rt. 20/Mass Pike Commuter lot)
       9:00 a.m. Chicopee
        Waterbury pickup time not yet determined.

The cost for round trip bus transportation is $98.00. We will only be dropping off at the three hotels listed below.

We are accepting payment via PayPal (see PayPal button below) or by check. If you would prefer to pay by check, please send an email to wtp@worcesterteaparty.com and we will send you the correct mailing address. Checks should be made out to Worcester Tea Party, Inc.

If you would like to book a hotel room you should reserve for two nights (9/10 arrival, 9/12 checkout). Please note that there are events starting on Thursday. If you want to attend these events you may book your hotel using the links below and then meet us in DC.

Room rates are per night, not per person. Use the links below to make your hotel reservations. The Worcester Tea Party is taking reservations for bus transportation only.

We are offering three hotels to choose from this year. You may choose from a wide range of other hotels, but our buses will stop only at these three.

Capitol Hilton $129/night, plus tax

The cost per night is $129.00 pus tax. You can either book your room on line, or if you prefer, you can call the hotel directly. Be sure to tell them you want a room in the "We The People 911 March" block. These rooms are normally $299. per night, but we got a substantial discount for those rooms within the block.
